Gas Line Services for South Charlotte Homeowners
Gas work is not a category to shop on price. Every line we run is sized for the appliance load, pressure tested, and inspected — and if you smell gas, this is one of the very few plumbing problems where the right first move is to leave the house and call from outside.
What we install
New lines for ranges, cooktops, dryers, tankless water heaters, fire pits, pool heaters, generators and outdoor kitchens. Tankless conversions in particular almost always need the supply upsized — a heater starved of gas will short-cycle and never deliver its rated output.
Leak testing and repair
We pressure test with gauges, locate with detection equipment, and repair to code. Corroded black iron at an exterior penetration and a loose flare fitting behind an appliance are the two we find most.
Permits and inspection
Gas work is permitted and inspected in every jurisdiction we serve. We pull it, schedule the inspection and hand you the sign-off — that paperwork is what your insurer and your future buyer's inspector will ask for.
If you smell gas: do not switch anything on or off, leave the building, and call your gas utility's emergency line from outside. Call us once the supply is made safe.

Gas Line Services — questions we get asked
Can I run a gas line myself?
Please do not. Gas work requires a licence and an inspection in every jurisdiction we serve, and an unpermitted line is both a safety risk and something that will surface at resale.
Do I need a bigger gas line for a tankless water heater?
Very often, yes. A tankless unit draws far more gas at peak than a tank heater, and an undersized supply is the most common reason a new tankless never quite delivers the hot water it should. We calculate the load before quoting.
What does a gas leak smell like?
Rotten eggs — the odourant added to natural gas. If you smell it, do not operate any switch or appliance, get everyone outside, and call the gas utility emergency number from outdoors.
