“Fantastic company! Jack was honest, professional and extremely knowledgeable. He explained everything that was wrong in great detail. Will definitely be calling him for any future plumbing needs.”
Charlotte's Go-To Plumber for Fast Repairs
The historic Charlotte neighbourhoods have the hardest plumbing in the metro. A Dilworth or Elizabeth bungalow may still be running on galvanised supply, original cast-iron waste and a clay lateral under a century-old willow oak — and it has probably been renovated two or three times by people who worked around the problem rather than fixing it.
That is where diagnosis earns its keep. We camera, we pressure test, and we tell you what is actually wrong before anyone quotes a repair.

Where we work in Charlotte
Dilworth, Myers Park, South End, Plaza Midwood, Elizabeth, NoDa and Uptown. Covering ZIP codes 28202, 28203, 28204, 28207, 28209 and 28211.
Pre-war Charlotte homes
Galvanised supply. Decades of internal corrosion closing the bore. Pressure has been getting worse so gradually that people stop noticing. Replacing it is transformative and there is no smaller fix.
Cast-iron waste. Thinning from the bottom of horizontal runs. A camera shows what is left; repeated patching on a run that is genuinely finished is throwing money away.
Clay laterals and the tree canopy. Dilworth, Myers Park, Elizabeth and Plaza Midwood have some of the biggest street trees in the city, and their roots have found the joints. Camera, locate, spot repair — before it is a backup into a finished basement.
South End and newer builds
Completely different: workmanship faults rather than wear, shared-wall leaks in mid-rise buildings, and tankless units that were undersized or given a gas supply that cannot feed them.
Renovated houses
Expect mixed materials and at least one modification that would not pass today. We correct rather than build on top of it.
What the housing here is like
The oldest housing in the metro. Pre-war bungalows in Dilworth, Elizabeth and Plaza Midwood with original cast iron, galvanised supply and clay laterals — next to dense new mid-rise in South End.

“This company was recommended by a neighbor and I could not be more happy with the service they provided! When we realized we had a semi serious water heater problem, Open Water Plumbing was very responsive, not only with calls and text to help me ensure the problem did not get worse but also made it a priority to get to our home to repair the issue the next day. I would happily use them again, and the price was extremely reasonable! 5 star!”
“Jacek installed my outdoor built in kitchen, unclogged my toilet (my daughter flushed down a plastic bottle) and he finished a couple other small jobs for me. He was always on time. Very easy to work with. Even if you think something is not possible, better call him first, I am pretty sure he will find the solution.”
Charlotte plumbing questions
Which Charlotte neighbourhoods do you serve?
Dilworth, Myers Park, South End, Plaza Midwood, Elizabeth, NoDa, Uptown and the surrounding areas. Charlotte is a regular part of our route.
Our 1920s bungalow has terrible water pressure. Is it fixable?
Yes, and it is almost certainly galvanised supply that has closed up internally. Replacing it is the only real fix and the difference is usually dramatic.
Do you work in condos and mid-rise buildings?
Yes — in-unit work and shared-wall leak investigation, coordinated with your HOA or building management for access and shutoffs.
